Discount gift shop reopens under different name a month after closing
A popular discount shop in Bristol[1] that closed last month has now opened under a different name. Buyology has bought the CM3 shops and has reopened them.
The five shops - in Church Road in Redfield, Regent Street in Kingswood[2], High Street in Keynsham[3] and Calne and Melksham in Wiltshire - are all believed to have been taken over by the same company.
The Church Road Buyology shop opened on October 20 with a huge banner covering the original CM3 sign. Inside the shop is identical to the one that closed in September but some items have been reduced and are priced up with Buyology stickers.
Locals had expressed disappointment when the sudden closure of CM3 on Church Road, Redfield was announced on September 20. One customer described it has 'a huge loss' and at the time others expressed their concern over the staff who would lose their jobs.

Calne News[6] reported that Buyology re-opened the Calne store a few weeks ago. The Wales-based company, which recently saw its Plymouth warehouse taken over by Home Bargains,[7] announced on social media at the time that it initially had a six-month contract.
Bristol Live has approached Buyology, which has its head office in Barry, Wales, for comment.
